In response to the controversy over PVC based building material, Novawall® Systems researched several plastic compounds for two years before finding a PVC Free alternative that has the same strength and attributes as their PVC based product.

A Class A Fire rating for complete compliance with building codes was also met with EcoTRACK™

Novawall® as a Sustainable Product

Not all projects require LEED certification; however the trend is towards using environmentally friendly products.  A Novawall® system can be configured to meet many environmental requirements, ensuring some sustainable attributes.

• Novawall® has EcoTRACK™, a PVC Free extrusion (in the Classic Square edge and midwall), that is 100% recyclable.
• Novawall® can be configured with Formaldehyde Free components.
• Novawall® uses no adhesives in the system ensures  a low VOC content.
• Novawall® is compatible with a multitude of fabrics.  Many fabrics have partial or are entirely made with recycled content (Post Industrial, Post Consumer or a combination, and Rapidly Renewable PLA fabrics).

LEED Green Building Rating System.

Novawall®'s EcoTRACK™ can contribute to earning several LEED credits throughout the program. Listed below are the categories and prerequisites where Novawall® may contribute.

LEEC NC (New Construction): Version 2.1 and 2.2.

LEED CI (Commercial Interiors): Version 2.0.

LEED NC 2.1, 2.2 and LEED CI 2.0: MR Credit 4.1 and 4.2 for Recycled Content.

LEED CI 2.0: MR Credit 5.1 for Regional Materials

LEED NC 2.1, 2,2 and LEED CI 2.0: MR Credit 6 for Rapidly Renewable Materials

LEED NC 2.1, 2.2, and LEED CI 2.0: EQ Credit 4.1 for Low-Emitting Materials Adhesives and Sealants.
