“What can I do to block the noise coming into my room?”

“How can I make noise without bothering the person in the next room?”

“How do I get rid of the traffic noise when I’m in my backyard?”

Sound Isolation

Sound Isolation is a simple concept that requires a combination of solutions. Sound travels from room to room by different methods; through the air and through the building structure itself.

What stops airborne sound is a barrier that has mass, so a heavy, thick, massive boundary (drywall, concrete wall, ceiling, etc.) is required, and the more mass the better. What stops sound from vibrating through the building structure is by separating all rigid connections between the building structure of one room to the next. Finally all penetrations and openings between the spaces need to be sealed airtight.

Modern construction practices give little thought to sound isolation, but Technature Inc.'s line of innovative solutions will bring you the isolation you need. Select from the following options that best fit your isolation problems.
